I was born in a winery nearby San Gimignano. I grew up in the countryside and have learnt to love my territory since I was a little girl. Even though I’m the youngest of the siblings, I have always been involved in our family business, the Cesani Winery. Pruning the vines, picking the grapes, working in the cellar, bottling and commercializing the wines have always been some of my tasks. Nowadays our wines are exported worldwide!
We are also known as a producer of excellent extra-virgin olive oil and saffron. Last but not least, I was an important component in the creation of our charming holiday accommodation Agriturismo Cesani, which now consists of ten rooms and an apartmen.
The passion I have for this job has led me to deepen my knowledge through various courses organized, for example, by AIS (Associazione Italiana Sommelier), slow food and WSET 2 (Wine and Spirit Educational Trust, 2nd Level), which are also internationally recognized.
I would love to share my knowledge and my wonderful region with the curious and the adventurous.
